Role Summary Soprana Norge is recruiting an experienced Cook for a long-term position in Norway. This role is open only to candidates who hold a valid EU work permit. You will prepare meals according to menus and standards, maintain high levels of food quality and hygiene, and support kitchen operations in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items consistently to specification and quality standards.

  • Plan and execute food preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events as required.

  • Manage portion control and presentation of dishes to meet customer and company expectations.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations.

  • Monitor inventory levels; report shortages and assist with stock ordering.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and storage areas.

  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.

  • Follow health and safety policies and participate in training as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid EU work permit (mandatory).

  • Proven experience working as a Cook in a professional kitchen.

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
